Old Dad just got older….happens every year apparently

On the 4th. New words…bumble bee! ….that will be useful, in the case of spotting a bumble bee only though.

Favourite programme is “How Does That Work”….so now she knows how a Hot Air Balloon, Boat, Toilet Flush works. Now that will be useful.

Conor down for weekend of 1-2nd. No jibs for him this time! Just chilled, opposed over to see Tilly with Mabel. Cricket for a few beers after Sports Day (obstacle course again for Mrs B). Curry and more beers round the dining table, lots of chat and never got to the see a film.

Drove up to see Oscar Sat 24th. Quiet eventful trip…

Welcome to the world Oscar Frankie Williams, arrived yesterday at 4pm. 8lb 13oz, looking good. Grandson No 1.

Another month. Talking a lot, making sentences…”I have dropped my boot”….”where’s Mummy gone”…..”Daddy’s beer” (not sure what the means!)

So at almost 21 months Mabel is out of nappies, apart from at night. Well done Mrs Bear for persistence and Baby Bear from being so clever.

Been on a 3 day round trip, starting on Bank Holiday Monday 29th, up to see Caitlin, Conor and Ava.

On way back popped in to see Jacob in Loughborough for cup of tea, inly he had not tea, no milks and no sugar…..so just had a catch up.

Then off to see Matilda, Chris and boys for an overnight stay on Tuesday night.

Phase II since Mabel was simply climbing/falling out of her cot with one side off we have decided to go the whole hog and put her in a proper bed, the futon. Still a bit of a problem settling as she seems to have changed her bed time forward to around 7, and then we still have a bit if crying before she flings herself back to bed.
