Annual visit to the Much Hadham Summer Fete and Dog

Mabels’ first ride and fire engine.

Very late post…actually on weekend of 27-30 July.

A wet one this year. Sunday with Bertie, Una, George, Gemma, Charlie and

Mabel did come Friday and Saturday, second year.

Jacob wanted Croquet party at Mallards, that’s what he got….oh and a tank cake of course!

Caitlin and Sion have moved to Llangollen.

The 3 Bears visit Ibiza from 1-10 Aug. Temp very high 30+ every day.

Stayed in one of the new pods. Not too large, but fine for us. Right next to the pool so that made life easy since we spent a lot of time in there.

This was a really relaxing holiday, BB got in to a great routine. Run in the morning for me or Alice. Coffee at Jaunita’s. Pool time, then sleep around 11.00 for a couple of hours. 12.00 beer o’clock. Out for lunch, back for more pool time, sleep. Wine o’clock, then evening splash time until bed.

Couple of lunches at our favourite restaurant, Can Xarc, and Mable even learnt to drive.

Mabel learnt to swim unassisted with arm bands. See video below.

Mabel came down with chicken pox, not too bad, but not quite herself. Has learnt a new word though…pox!

Off to Doolin for Bertie and Una’s wedding.

Left on Saturday 15th, wedding on Wednesday 19th, back on Saturday 2nd. Lots to tell…

Birthday treat, visit to Whitstable and overnight stay without Mabel. Sunday 9th and back on Monday 10th.

Been very busy with work and stuff so haven’t updated for some time, the following are obviously not written in the day and may well be out of chronological order.
