BIG GIRL BED

Had a rude awakening, slight sound from Mabel’s room then our bedroom door opened to see a smiling squiggle! or maybe the expression was look how clever I am, climbing quietly out of my cot and then opening doors to some to your bed!

So it is time for the side to come off the cot, move a stair gate to Mabel’s bedroom door and big girl bed time.

GLOUCESTER

First visit to see Reuben and Chelsea in their new flat, in Gloucester near the Quays.

Mabel with M & Mike, left after Lola finished work at 5.30, arrived around 8.00. Booked in to Travelodge.

Wine tasting; of course “Bang On” Alice guessed correctly, “Just Knock It Back” Martin didn’t!

On the Sunday morning we went for a run. Reuben had advised that there was a park 5 mins away. We ran 15 mins without seeing a park, turned around, ran back and saw it next to the Travelodge. Ran round park for 2 mins and met up at Bills for breakfast. Located at the Gloucester Quay area, beautiful weather and great location.

Later in the morning walked up Robinswood Hill, photos at hill top above.

WHITSTABLE

Sunday trip to Whitstable, weather brilliant.

Nice walk in the refurbished docks area, wander on beach. Mabel walked a long way. Fish and chips for lunch, Mrs Bear also had a Procsseco; and why not?

Bought 6 Oysters, tad optimistic (and proved true as I only ate 2!)
