Took Tilly to Bordeaux for the weekend of 28/29th. Stayed at Mama Shelter.

Despite Tilly arriving with a hangover and little sleep we had a lovely time. Flew out around midday, arrived, Tilly chilled in room for a while (recovery time!). Went up to rooftop bar, full of cool people (including me of course), amazing view of Bordeaux.

Evening meal in the restaurant, nice to have some time to chat and catch up. Early night.

Wine to for run first thing, managed not to get lost, round town and followed river. Breakfast and then a walk around the town, a bit of shopping and then headed home. Will be back.

Bronze anniversary, 7 years.

This time Alice was on exeat so had a free run.

First Parkrun on Saturday 14th. As Alice working I ran it pushing Mabel in big buggy. Hard work with no arms, great for core though. Did in 27 mins, so happy with that. B.B. bit fed up at start as she wanted understandably to go to park. Fast asleep by end!

4th October and Baby Bear is turning in to Toddler Bear.

Waited 20 years or so to see this…..had to miss the last 15 mins as Alice was tired, fair enough, long days. Only missed my 3 favourites, heyho can wait till next time.

oh and was amazing of course, also the best smelling concert I have been to due to the scents in the smoke machine

Manuden 10K run on Sunday 17th. Would have been happy to run under my age, that is less than 58 mins. But really wanted to be under 50 mins, well just in at 49:49. very pleased with that….

Run with Jacob as he was down for the week, he did around 45 mins.

3rd one for Mabel, this time just me and BB as Alice was visiting Lola. Lovely ice-cream, to keep BB occupied while I have the traditional WoodFest Real Ale.

Scrambled egg, toast and smoked salmon for breakfast. Hmm..smoked salmon already, not sure what that means.

Off to Duxford, via Uncle Mike’s. Mabel loves airplanes. This is not induced; she just likes helicopters, tractors, diggers, trains, lorries…and airplanes. Mabel is a girl 🙂

First hangar is Concord.  There are a few seats, with signs on the seats that say Do Not Sit On The Seats. Mabel throws sheets off seat, sits on seats, buckles up and awaits take-off. Stern look from staff.

After Duxford to Bob and Breeda’s for combined birthday cake. Said goodbye to Lorna, back to Tazzie.
