Weekend at Hastings, weather rather challenging.

Stayed in and apartment, that was lovely but the block was a mess.

Visited Jerwood Gallery and Sea World, Mabel liked the octopus. Windy walk on the pier.

What a great weekend we just had.

Started on Friday, had Lucy from next door baby-sit on Friday night while The Bears stepped out in to town.

Beer in the Cock then went for meal at local Portuguese. Popped in to newly refurbished Half Moon, social with Annette and David. Nice to step out, Mrs B very happy to do something grown up again.

Sunday we went to Matilda and Chris’s, I picked up Jacob from Loughborough and Chris picked up Reuben. So a happy Mothers Day for Alice. As usual  great food and hospitality from the Bartups.

Popped over to see Caitlin, Ava and Oscar for the weekend.

Oscar is such a happy chap, getting big, and can see some Brooks in there.

Ava is lovely, but seems to have language all of her own.

Mix of Welsh and English I think …Wenglish maybe!

For 21st took Conor to see Chelse v West Brom at the Bridge. Took the day off so we spent the day in Islington, had a few beers then had early dinner in Galipoli. Off to the match, great excitement and we won 3-0. Thanks for the scarves Conor!

No1 son 21 today.

Our little girl started pre-school today, Appletree.

Mabel at Mallards to the Bears stepped out.

Meal at Cote, special 4 course with wine for each course.

We arrived back on 23rd, Reuben and Chelsie arrived same evening, few merry drinkies. Jacob and Lola came on Christmas Eve so we had Gammon Christmas dinner.

Up for stocking Christmas Day, Mabel had her request…a yoyo! WOn’t be so easily pleased I am sure in the future.

Late lunch at Mallards, Ed, Holly et al were supposed to be back from Antigua but stuck at airport and didn’t get back until 26th. Kieth, Cath substituted so quiet one. Lola picked up early and Jacob headed off to Mabel.
