NEW START

Today I have moved in to 6A South Street. Seems The Bears time as a couple has come to an end. Our age difference has become “a thing”. Different headspace and all that. Alice is not happy and prepared to carry on as just best friends, I can’t give her what she needs. Emotionally, physically. To get from Alice stating she can’t carry on as we are to acceptance of that has been a journey. Time together in the house, evenings talking, hugs and tears before I leave.

We remain friends. A more amicable separation you couldn’t imagine. Maybe that proves something. Not sure that is a good something or not a good something.

It will turn in to something else though.

How is it? Hired van, filled, drove to flat. Alice follows and helps me unload. Of course then suggests where everything should go….😆

THE BRO’S VISIT

Unusual sighting of the 3 brothers, all over for the weekend.

Conor started the loft boarding, really great skills. I mainly lifted stuff and made tea.

Too much drunk in Friday night, but Conor and I managed a few cheeky beers watching Chelsea early doors at the Cock.

Sunday tea at Cote, the photos are from there.

NYD 2020

First of all super train track building, then traditional walk at Heighbridge Basin. Very mild so nice walk to park, swings, climbing then lovely pub lunch. Well so much for dry January…start tomorrow
