photos from the week, sleeping as well as can be expected (i.e. not much, and mostly during the day). Feeding well though, every 2 hours, which brings us back to lack of sleep

Always seem to be a day behind with posts at the moment….yesterday visit to registry office and logged Mabel as officially named….full name Mabel Clementine Brooks.

Another first for Mabel. Every Sunday we do a short run to Costa early and have quiet coffee at the start of the day. Alice hasn’t been running for a while but walking as I run, up to the Sunday before the birth.

Now two weeks later same again, Alice pushed Mabel and I met them on the way from a run. Good to keep things the same as far as possible.

Picked up Tilly and she came over to see her latest Sister. Very nice.

Afternoon we kept another tradition, St Mary’s Motor Show. Cars. Still a nice slow thing to do, that’s life now. I’m loving it.

First visit to Mallards

Ava had arrived, at 01.44. After much effort at induction, (seem to have heard this story before), they realised the baby was too big so a ceasarian. Ava has come in at a whopping 10lb 10 oz..wow. She looks lovely. all are very happy, Sion looks absolutely delighted.

I am a Grandad. Mabel is an aunt!

Caitlin has gone in at 07.15 for induction.
Now 17.15 and she is 4cms…..a long day so far…midnight still no news…

Well it had to happen at some point I guess, to the pub!

It was Chelsea v Everton and since Uncle Charlie is a Toffee, and it was sunny, it seemed a good reason to pop to the Brickies for a couple of beers.

Chelsea lost 3-1 so not exactly a perfect day.

Sunny day so first trip in the buggy. Where are those very very small sunnies when you need them?

Woodfest on Sunday 6th. Two days old and at her first festival.

Saw Annabelle and Twig and Martin and Nicky, all shocked to see a baby and Alice after 2 days. She is amazing (or the drugs are still working).
