Quite a long one, starting Xmas morning around 2.30 am with Reuben bursting in to our bedroom saying he had a surprise. In staggers Jacob having been missing in action for 3 months round east Asia and told Alice he wasn’t coming back for Christmas. So fabulous present for Mrs B.Lunch at Mallards, Alice, M , Mike X 2, G X 2 and Charlie, good mix, great food, too much wine. So here we are again, lost count of the number. Even BB arrives in the room with the shout of “were home”

Writing this on Tuesday night, arrived Saturday. Usual routine, (despite me thinking I hate routine, of course as I get older realise routine is what keeps you secure, that is a bloody buggery), book in, bit of unpacking, happy hour, unpack some more, pizza, wine…….yes, and then bed.

Keeping up the happy double Happy Hour rhythm. Mabel swimming really well, but hot tubbing preferred. Mrs B doing her normal amazing stuff and being very understanding of me sorting out out her birthday meal at Taste in Aguiaguin, first on Sunday night..oops it is closed on Sunday, never mind we will go on Monday. Get dressed up on Monday all ready to go..hmm, just let me check….oops closed on Monday too. Bear!!! Oh well, let’s make this Wednesday, leaving 24hrs for contingency.

Trip to beach restaurant, had a fish to myself. Asked what it was many times but still don’t know.

Sadly lost Mabel’s bum bag 😟, never mind can get new one tomorrow. That seems a good idea 😀…more on this later!

Our favourite restaurant Taste Meson, Arguieguin. Amazing tasting menu, 360 wines and they sell off odd ends of very expensive bottles for 6 euros. Sadly lost Mabel’s bum bag, eh! Yes that’s right, bought new one and lost that too.

Mabel as Mary in the Ugly Ducklings Nativity, as she is the eldest girl in the year. Starring role of course.

I suspect that Mabel had the most visitors, Grandma, Mike, Jo, Katie Elf, Mike and us two. One advantage of being born an inbetweener BB.

Performed magnificently, particularly producing the baby Jesus from under your chair with your legs.
